Remember just starting out?

How I got my first VA Client

When I started my VA practice, I remember thinking that all I needed to do was to put up a Web site, let a few people know what I was doing, and then the phone would start ringing. Wrong!

I know a lot more about marketing and networking now and I'm eager to share my experiences with other VAs who are just starting out. How about you?

Would you like to be in an ebook?

Tell me how you landed your first client or two.

Were they ideal? Were they pay as you go (PAYG) or on Retainer? Did you met them online or at the grocery store? Are you still with them or are they long gone? Most importantly, what valuable marketing lessons did you learn that you'd like to pass on to others?

What's in it for you?

Opportunity: give back to the VA community.
Publicity: get your name and Web site in print.
Prestige: be perceived as an expert in your field.

Here's the deal...

You give me your story. If it is one of the top stories that make a unique marketing point, I'll use it. I reserve the right to do some minor editing. If you do make the cut, I'll include your name and Web site address. Sound fair?

What's your story?
