NEW Training Opportunity!

VA Technical School

Although I was AssistU trained (see information below), not every training program can provide everything that you need to learn to be a technically astute Virtual Assistant. That's why I recommend The VA Technical School.

Founded by my VA Buddy, Kathy Sparks, The VA Technical School picks up where other schools leave off. The school offers classes such as:

• 10 Ways to BE the VA that Clients Brag About
• Assessment forms with Assessment Generator
• How to find and Create Joint Venture Partnerships
• Shopping Cart Courses

More classes are being generated all the time. The classes are taught by entrepreneurial professionals, mostly VAs like me.

Check it out! Join the mailing list so you'll be the first to know when a new class is offered that may be just what you've been looking for.

To know about what kind of a virtual assistant I would make for you, you really need to understand the training that I received. I'm an AssistU VA, and that means that I had 20 weeks of training about how to be a great VA. Only half of those who apply get into AssistU.

We learned how to operate a home-based business successfully by creating business plans, boundaries, standards, contracts and more. We studied technology, the legal aspects of a business, marketing, networking, and ethics among other topics. Why do you care? Because I take my business seriously, and if you're serious about your business, you won't settle for anything less.

As a member of the AssistU community, I have access to all the fine minds and resources available for solving difficult problems and for learning about the latest technologies.

I'm also a member of IVAA, the International Virtual Assistants Association. I attended their international conference in Chicago in 2004. In September 2005, IVAA, roughly 600 members strong, selected AssistU to be its preferred educational partner.
